Surrey Police have released CCTV images of six men they would like to speak to in connection with a fight at the Epsom Derby.

From June: Riot police called to bottle-throwing brawl between racegoers at Epsom Derby

A number of people suffered minor injuries in a fight which broke out in the grandstand area at about 5.30pm on Saturday, June 4, according to the force.

Police do not believe this fight is believed to be connected to the violence near the entertainment stage set up on the hill that afternoon.

From August: Surrey Police renew appeal into drunken violence and public disorder at Epsom Derby

Detective Sergeant Errol Chetty said: "I would like to talk to the men in these images as I believe they could have information about an incident in the grandstand on the afternoon of the Epsom Derby.

"If this is you in one of the images or you know the identity of any of these men please get in touch with us.”

Riot police clashed with drunken bottle-throwing racegoers on the hill at the Derby.

Eleven people were arrested on the day and a further ten have been arrested since the Derby for crimes including violent disorder, GBH, robbery and ABH.

The number of Derby Day arrests is more than the number of arrests made by Surrey Police – which dispatches several hundred officers to the Derby every year – in 2015 (five) and 2014 (also five) combined.
