Letter to the Editor: Political letters before local election are 101 per cent wrong
I’m bored by the local election already. Why are all these prospective candidates making wild accusations in the letters page?
A Labour candidate cannot distinguish between county and borough council responsibilities. A Conservative candidate finds the detailed consultation on a new road scheme flawed because it disagreed with his party line.
Percentages are also invented to justify an argument about councillor allowances. They are all 101% wrong. Do we really want these people representing us?
