With all the reports in the media lately about dogs being stolen I just had to write to say I cannot believe how stupid (or maybe just ignorant) some dog owners still seem to be.
I visited the Tesco shop in Horton and there on arrival was a sweet little Westie looking most miserable I may add, tied to a drainpipe. I was in that shop for 15 minutes and then went to another shop in all I was about 25 minutes and this poor dog was still there, still miserable and obviously vulnerable.
Why do people still insist on taking their dogs to any shops only to have them tied up outside, easy prey for the vile dog snatchers and an easy target for anyone to torment.
Apart from guide dogs obviously, shops are never a good place to take your dog.
I love my dogs too much to leave them in any kind of danger. Dog theft seems to be on the increase why put your dog at risk?
