Has anybody else noticed an early morning cockerel crowing on Merland Rise?
Have endured the 5am to 5.30am crowing every morning throughout the summer months, although it is now slightly later with the darker mornings coming.
Even with the house windows shut, it is disruptive, and very stuffy in the house, and impossible to sleep through.
It is just ridiculous.
Correct me if I am wrong, but you do not require a cockerel to produce eggs do you? Why would you live in a residential street and cause a nuisance to your neighbours, by keeping a cockerel?
If you are the owners of the hens/chickens and a very noisy cockerel, please have a little consideration for your neighbours. It is unnecessary, thoughtless and stressful for those around you.
