Year 10 students from Blenheim High School will be given the opportunity to dip their toes into the world of Business on Wednesday, 11th July.
The high profile Enterprise Day, run in conjunction with Surrey SATRO (Science and Technology Regional Organisation), local businesses and Blenheim Governors aims to give students a realistic taste of the cut and thrust of the business world in a fun and challenging way. Students will form companies for the day, manufacturing a product which they then have to sell to a discerning panel of buyers. They have to choose roles, decide on a company name and logo, manage their finances and negotiate orders for their companies; all whilst trying to learn to work with new people and meet deadlines!
As a final challenge, students will also be asked to give presentations to a panel of judges discussing what they have learnt and achieved from the day.
