Age Concern Banstead are very pleased to announce that they have been granted extra funding from Reigate and Banstead Council to employ a second Domicillary Visitor, in order to extend their services to the elderly community in Banstead and surrounding areas.
They intend to encourage more referrals from local GP’s, Hospitals, relatives and friends, in order to extend their ‘Home Support’ already offered to vulnerable and lonely elderly people in their own homes. The Domicillary Visitor will assess individual needs of each client, and help them access the services and companionship they may require in order to remain happily living in their own accomodation.
An important aspect of their work is ‘continuity of contact’ with their clients, and to ensure this happens they need Volunteers. To this end Age Concern Banstead are holding 2 VOLUNTEER DROP IN SESSIONS on Saturday 26th April and Wednesday 19th April At 2-4pm At ‘The Open Door’ Church Institute, High St, Banstead For more information please phone the office on 01737 352156 Mon-Fri 10 till 3.
