Wait for it, it'll only be a matter of time before Owen Patterson and his equally odious colleagues start claiming bragging rights for finally moving in and doing something for the poor fed-up residents of the Somerset Levels.
This charmless man has now decided to authorise the forces to move in and do what his appalling department failed or weren't prepared to do.
Why, oh why, is this man not thrown out of his job as being unfit for purpose. Too little too late.
Once again this ridiculous government will squeak through and survive another period of inactivity and take credit for now clearing up the mess they left for too long.
It is absolutely shameful that this man will remain in the post he is so absolutely unfit for.
But that's government, in particular Tory government for you.
