I do not want to comment on Margaret Thatcher as this has no doubt been covered ad-nauseam, but what purpose was there in reconvening Parliament to discuss this deplorable woman.
Surely the time to remember her is at her funeral and for a short time thereafter, not this monumental waste of time and money on fawning insincere old Tory grandees.
And the politicians who stayed away from this charade have in my opinion done the correct thing.
The sooner this farce is over the better.
