Kingstonian's cup final dream fell at the final hurdle this evening after they were defeated 2-0 by Hendon.
Ks fans saw their team go in 0-0 at half time in the London Senior Cup. Hendon were the better team for the first 45 minutes but Ks had their moments.
A Bobby Traynor header from six yards out was well saved by the Hendon keeper, their best chance of the first half.
But the wheels fell off in the second half after a lovely strike from the edge of the box by Hendon striker David Currie.
Then a mix up between Ks defender Gary Macdonald and keeper Rob Tolfrey gave Jack Mezzone the chance to lob home a second goal with 15 minutes to go.
Ks manager Alan Dowson said: "I'm devastated for the fans more than us. The difference between the two teams was huge."
