A woman was killed after being hit by a car in Teddington last night as police officers appeal for witnesses.
Shortly before 11pm a car hit the female pedestrian in Kingston Road, near the junction of Ferry Road.
She was pronounced dead at the scene after paramedics tried to save her life.
Whilst officers believe they know who the deceased is – and next of kin have been informed – they await a formal identification. The driver of the car was not arrested.
