How do you think Leatherhead town centre should look?

Residents views are being sought as part of a second round of public consultations on the Transform Leatherhead project.

The second stage of the consultation about the plan to rejuvenate Leatherhead town centre was launched at the beginning of the month and will last until January.

More than 3,000 residents from the historic market town and its surrounding villages engaged in the initial Transform Leatherhead consultation over the summer.

Councillor Vivienne Michael, executive member for community engagement and resident services at Mole Valley District Council said: "The initial consultation was a huge success, and the public have given us a clear direction on the important elements to be included in a masterplan aimed at transforming Leatherhead.

"The Masterplanners have listened carefully to the views and suggestions received and we want to get feedback on their initial ideas.

"We are proposing to mail every household, hold exhibitions and invite online feedback so that as many people as possible can tell us what they think of these ideas for the future of the town centre." A Baseline and Consultation Report have been published on the Transform Leatherhead website: www.molevalley.gov.uk/transformleatherhead
