A young man who was cut free from his car after a three-vehicle crash is recovering from minor injuries.
The A24 was closed to traffic on Thursday morning while a 20 year-old driver was cut free from a Citroen Saxo after it collided with two other cars in Epsom Road on the way to Ashtead near the junction with Bowyers Close.

He had suspected hip and back injuries and was extracted by firefighters from Epsom station just after 7.15am on Thursday, July 30.
There was severe traffic congestion on the road while emergency services dealt with the collision.
A second person was taken to Epsom Hospital at the time. The person's condition is not known.
Surrey Police are appealing for witnesses to the manner of driving to come forward.
