Five kittens were rescued from a burning home yesterday in West Ewell.
Crews from Epsom and Esher pulled the cats from the empty house in Collier Close, West Ewell after a 999 call at about 10.40am.
Firefighters administered oxygen to at least one of the kittens, which were understood to have been only a few days old.
