Police dogs, a helicopter and officers are searching for a missing driver whose van crashed into a tree early this morning.
Police are concerned that Richard Baxter, 29, may have been injured in the crash in Dorking Road, Walton-on-the-Hill, at 2.20am.
Mr Baxter, from the Dorking area, is white, 5ft 11in and stocky with closely shaved light brown hair. Sergeant Simon McCarthy said: "We urgently need to find Mr Baxter as we are concerned he may have been injured in the collision.
"I would ask that the public let us know immediately if they see anybody matching the description."
