Roadworks which could last for nearly 4 months have begun in Streatham.
Transport for London (TfL) has appointed CVU Highway Services to carry out improvement works, including the removal of the existing central reservation on Streatham High Road, between Leigham Court Road and Woodbourne Avenue.
The works could last for 15 weeks from Monday, November 25, or until the work is completed, depending on the weather conditions.
These will be carried out in phases taking place between 7:30am and 3pm on Monday to Friday for works on the southbound carriageway and between 10am to 5pm or work on the northbound carriageway.
TfL have said temporary road closures will come into force during the works.
