Magicians did conjuring tricks, bands and dancers performed, parkour athletes ran around obstacles and teenagers fought in an inflatable gladiator arena on Saturday.
The popular leisure day, branded YLD Xtreme, drew teenagers to take part in sports and listen to music in Epsom's Rosebery Park where the sun blazed down.
Epsom Council worked with charitable company the Beat Project to organise the day, with young people stepping in to make decisions and organise events.
Eleven teenagers from Rosebery school gave up their time and contributed the ideas to create what was billed as ‘the event of the summer’.
