Former Richmond Rugby Club mini Louis Mather returns to the borough next week when he starts for Oxford in the 129th Varsity match at Twickenham on Thursday.

Mather, whose great uncle played for France, started playing rugby at the Athletic Ground as an eight-year-old and was a member of last year's winning Oxford team in the U21 Varsity Match.

On the replacement’s bench is Twickenham’s Thomas Yusef, who also started out at Richmond RFC and has an England U16s cap to his name.
