Women's World Day of Prayer Friday 5th March

Women’s World Day of Prayer.

Friday 5th March 2010.

10am at Worcester Park Baptist Church, The Avenue.

Theme: “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord”

Speaker: Reverend Lucy Wright.

On the first Friday in March each year people all over the world join together in prayer for each other and praise to God.

Every year the service is prepared by women from a different country, hence the title. This year it has been prepared by the women of Cameroon. A beautiful and fascinating country in west Africa.

What do you know about Cameroon and its’ people?

Throughout the service the women share something about their country and their life. They have many concerns too, but in spite of these they come to this conclusion “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord”.

So what are you doing on Friday the 5th of March?

Come and join us in song and prayer!

Everyone is welcome. There is a crèche for young children and refreshments afterwards.
