As a resident of Auriol Park Road I want to reiterate once again my strong opposition to the Vodafone mast which is to be sited adjacent to Auriol Park, opposite residential properties and in direct view as one enters or leaves Auriol Park Road.
Given Vodafone's own website shows 4G coverage is already good in this area, it begs the question as to why the mast is needed at all.
The mast will be metres from the children's play area and is an eyesore of significant impact in what is a semi-rural location.
The opposition to the site by over 500 residents has been, to date, totally ignored by both Epsom and Ewell and Surrey County Councils.
We can offer several suggestions for less intrusive sites if Vodafone were to listen.
