Letter to the Editor: What is the quickest route from London zone 1 to Epsom?
How about a reader competition for either the quickest route or the most convenient route from London zone 1 to Epsom station, or town centre, using only Oyster card valid travel?
Nearest zone 6 stations appear to be Ewell East or West but both have either only either half-hourly or hourly bus service to Epsom. Maybe train to Surbiton might be better with buses onward to Epsom in theory every 10 minutes.
Real actual journey times should be submitted, not theoretical timings.
It might be informative to use a contactless bank card instead of oyster to see if the cost is more or less.
