Letter to the Editor: So upset by dog’s death on railway tracks
I was so upset when I read about Barney the beloved family pet that was electrocuted and left for more than 30 hours between the railway tracks (Grief for family as dog's body is left on railway, January 15).
Being a dog lover and a Westie owner myself, my heart goes out to the owners Ms Richards and Mr White. Some people will not understand the unconditional love and companionship a family dog can give and to lose him this way is even more distressing. Please pass on my heartfelt thoughts and best wishes from one dog lover to another.
