Tom Whiteley was the hero of the hour for Rosslyn Park with the last-gasp try and conversion that sealed a 20-17 at National League One strugglers Cinderford.

The win on Saturday keeps Park in fifth place, but saw them cut the lead of table-topping Richmond to 10 points after their defeat at home to fellow title-chasers Hartpury College.

Park's win had more to do with Whiteley than his heroics in the dying moments, as the scrum-half scored 15 of Park-s 20-point haul - Sam Shires got the opening try of the day.

Park finish the action for 2015 this weekend when they host leaders Richmond at the Rock, before returning to the pitch on January 2 at home to Plymouth Albion.
