Racecourse confirms bus shuttle service will be running from Epsom Station to the Derby

Epsom Downs Racecourse has confirmed that a bus shuttle service will be running from Epsom station to this year's Derby tomorrow.

A spokeswoman for the racecourse said it had received phone calls today from those worried that no bus service would be running.

The confusion comes in the week train company Southern first urged racegoers to avoid Epsom station due to its major redevelopment work, and then, a day later, said there "shouldn't be any problems" with the numbers of people expected at the station.

Tattenham Corner and Epsom Downs stations will also be running a shuttle bus service to the racecourse.
