Kieran Gall has had a very successful few days in Suhl, Germany representing Great Britain in the inaugural Junior World Target Sprint Championships.
On the morning of Saturday 24th June he qualified in 11th place for the final, the only British male to do so. The final took place later the same afternoon and he achieved an excellent result coming 8th overall, securing a new British Record of 5min and 12 seconds. Kieran has only had a couple of training sessions with the GB squad so this is particularly admirable.
On Sunday 25th June Kieran then took part in finals for both the Men's Team and Mixed Team events, both of which had entries from Junior and Senior age categories.
Kieran, Jack Jeffreys and Sam Hopson managed a wonderful 6th place in the Men's event and Kieran Gall and Emily Shawyer were able to secure an impressive 4th place behind gold-winning olympic athletes in the Mixed Team event.
