On Friday 21st April 2017, The Wheatsheaf FC from Ewell Village won their first ever trophy in their debut season in the Junior Oak Cup Final at Banstead FC's ground winning the game 3-2 with a last minute extra time winner by star striker Robert Guest after the sides were level on 90 minutes with the score 2-2.

This cup success was quickly followed by a second only one week later when Wheatsheaf F.C played Woolpack Eagles in the Senior Challenge Cup with the Wheatsheaf coming out as 4-2 winners with centre back Chris Day opening the scoring with his first goal for the club.

The Wheatsheaf then followed the two cup successes with the league trophy. The Wheatsheaf were in second place in the league throughout the majority of the season, however, they had caught up with the league leaders with one game to go and it all coming down to 90 minutes of football.

With the tensions running high, Wheatsheaf F.C managed to see off their opposition with a well deserved 2-0 victory with captain Aaron Williams scoring both goals to make the Wheatsheaf treble winners in their first season after only being formed in the summer of 2016.

Wheatsheaf F.C manager Paul Gray said after the treble win, "I am so proud of the lads for all of the effort they have put in throughout the season, this treble is well deserved. We must build on this seasons success and go again next year where we will now be playing in Division 1 and expecting a tougher season ahead of us".

Captain of the Wheatsheaf F.C Aaron Williams concluded "This was a great season for us all and to come out as treble winners makes it even more special, everyone has put a lot of hard work into the running of this club and these trophies are for everyone; the players, the backroom staff, the supporters and the whole of Ewell Village who have been by our side throughout the entire duration of the season, thank you all".
