A team of volunteers, staff and trustees from Citizens Advice Epsom & Ewell will be taking part in the 10k London Legal Walk on Monday 22nd May to raise funds for our local charity.
Over 10,000 people in total are expected on this iconic walk, starting from Lincoln’s Inn Fields in the heart of legal London. The aim is to raise much needed funds for charities that provide free legal advice and representation to those in need.
Over 600 teams from leading law firms and other Citizens Advice charities will be participating. In addition, many senior legal figures will be walking including the Lord Chief Justice, the Master of the Rolls and the Director of Public Prosecutions as well as Judge Rinder!
Citizens Advice Epsom & Ewell is a local charity wholly dependent on local funds and fundraising and would welcome sponsorship for this event. It helps over 3,000 local people each year and needs to raise at least £5 just to cover the basic costs for each person helped.
• £ 5 covers the basic costs of a typical client
• £ 20 will cover our Tuesday evening session
• £ 50 will cover a typical morning or afternoon
• £ 100 will cover a busy Monday morning
• £ 300 will cover a whole week
To help with sponsorship, please visit the fundraising page at www.tinyurl.com/kneuage or drop in at the local office in The Parade, Epsom.
