Thanks to the generosity of local residents, RNLI collections at local railway stations on Tuesday 25 April, and the 'Mayday' collection in Epsom on Saturday 6 May raised a total of £2,210.
A sufficient amount to kit out one all-weather lifeboat crew member in protective gear, and to buy a lifejacket for another.
