Some people may be wary of fundraising for charity as they may believe they have to do something epic, or physically challenging, to raise money for their chosen cause.
But fundraising can be as simple as popping on the kettle and sharing a slice of cake and everyone can get involved.
This month, national pet charity Blue Cross is calling on readers to share a brew and a sweet treat by hosting a Paws for Tea party for friends, family, neighbours or work colleagues. Children can also get involved by helping to bake cakes and holding sales at their schools.
It’s a fun and easy way for anyone to get involved in fundraising and money raised will help us continue our work helping tens of thousands of sick, injured and homeless pets every year.
If you can’t host a party you could always hold a bake sale. For more ideas on how to get involved you can visit bluecross.org.uk/teaparty.
