A 16 girl Figure Team who dance with the Griffin Lynch School of Irish Dancing based in Leatherhead won the World Championships in Dublin on Sunday 16th April.
They competed in the Senior Ladies Figure competition against teams from USA, Poland, Scotland and Ireland and came 1st!
The figure is a choreographed dance for 16 girls and it was set to a remix of The Game of Thrones music. Maggie Lynch, Richard Griffin and Erin Peachey their teachers were delighted to add this World Championship award to their list of honours and all the girls and parents were absolutely delighted.
