Terminal Illness Charity desperate for Collection volunteers in Epsom this March.

Marie Curie, which has a local fundraising group in Epsom, is calling for local people to volunteer for a few hours to help with upcoming collections as part of their Great Daffodil Appeal in March.

The Great Daffodil Appeal is the second largest campaign of its type in the UK, second only to the Poppy Appeal, last year it raised over £7million and paid for over 350,000 hours of hands on nursing care and support. Every £20 raised from the sale of daffodil pins will pay for one hour of care for a person with any terminal illness in the comfort and privacy of their own home.

There are 2 collection venues in Epsom this year, the Ashley Centre on Friday the 10th and Saturday the 11th of March and Chessington Garden Centre on Saturday the 18th and Sunday the 19th of March. If you are able to support Marie Curie this year please visit www.mariecurie.org.uk/daffodil or contact Emily Akeroyd on 01883 832642 or email emily.akeroyd@mariecurie.org.uk
