Thank you 10,000 times. Nonsuch Rotary's President, Santa and Elves would like to thank the residents of North Cheam and Worcester Park for their genorousity in helping the club to raise a magnificent £10,714.95 from both their street collections and collections outside Sainsbury's North Cheam and Tesco on the Sutton bypass.

The total actually collected for local and Rotary charities was £10, 714.95, six supermarket trolley tokens, several buttons and a jamjar. In addition two bags of miscellaneous foreign currency, which have been donated to St Raphael's Hospice.

We collected almost exactly 31,000 coins, used 804 banking bags for the coins, which weighed a total of 196 kilos, much more than Santa or the average sumo wrestler.

Unlike Santa and his Elves who disappear back to their Grotto at the North Pole after Christmas, Nonsuch Rotary help our community charities year round.

Once again our thanks to the communities of North Cheam and Worcester Park and the customers, management and staff of Kendall's Car Hire, Sainsbury's North Cheam and Tesco Sutton bypass. £10, 714.95 didn't you do well.

We had great fun meeting and greeting you all. Nonsuch Rotary will now use the money to help local and Rotary Charities including Sutton Shopmobility, Sutton Community Transport, Sutton Alzheimer's Society and Gary Mason Hand Drumming.
