We are now raising the prize to £100 - but we are also raising the bar of the competition.

Instead of just being up against your fellow readers for the prize, you will also be competing against our staff to find the best photos and videos each month.

Anyone submitting a mobile picture or video clip to yourlocalguardian.co.uk will be eligible for the prize.

Entries will be posted online and our group editor Andrew Parkes will judge the best picture, series of pictures or video at the end of each month.

So if you are out and about and capture photographs or video footage which are newsworthy, interesting or just plain bizarre send it to us for your chance to win £100.

2. Leave a space and then key in a description of your picture or video, including your name.
3. Send it to 80360 - make sure your picture or video is attached.
