The mayor attended Glyn School's evening celebration of arts
The Mayor of Epsom and Ewell, Councillor Christine Long, was guest of honour at to an evening celebration of arts at Glyn School.
The Mayor took a keen interest in the students’ work at the event last Wednesday which included GCE and GCSE art work, film studies pieces, design technology coursework items and the winning entries from a poetry and prose competition.
The event also included musical recitals and a humorous short play by the junior boys’ drama club.
The mayor praised the students for their hard work and creativity before presenting awards to prize winners.
