An Epsom company has backed the Guardian's Zone 6 campaign.

Vox Pops International donated its skill and time to create a video of interviews with people on the streets of Epsom giving their views on the issue.

Charlotte de Maria, from the firm, said: "Having been established for over 20 years as a research, video and communications agency, Vox Pops International, based in Ewell West (included in Zone 6), wanted to show their support for the Epsom Guardian and bring to life their campaign.

"By interviewing Epsom commuters, business owners and Epsom Guardian reporter Hardeep Matharu, we were able to capture the powerful voice of the local community in a compelling video to help support the campaign."

I am very much in favour of the move to include Epsom into Zone 6. As a local resisdent who commutes daily into London, it would of course be a huge benefit, but it would also bring the area inline with other Zone 6 boundaries. With the new station it would be an ideal time to change this zoning. Passenger predictions are on the rise, but I suspect if the zone is impliemented this will increase further, which can only be a good thing for the town and shops. The new station has been built with increase in mind, with its new ticket hall etc and would be able to cope.

It is also annoying not being able to purchase an annual oyster card for travel into London, as the old paper tickets seem to only last 2/3 months from general wear.

LET'S ALL FIGHT TO GET EPSOM INTO ZONE 6!!!
