Flooding affecting travel across East Croydon

Trains are being affected by the weather
Heavy rainfall overnight has caused flooding at Croydon Underpass as well as affecting rail travel across South London.
Drivers are warned to avoid Croydon underpass following reports of flooding just after 6am this morning.
Southern Rail is reporting power outages at Norwood Junction, which is affecting the service through the station, with delays of up to 40 minutes between London Bridge and East Croydon reported.
The Met office has issued rain warning for the remainder of the day, with heavy rain expected until around 4pm.
Tram services between Elmers End and Arena are suspended due to palnned engineering works until Sunday June 17
