We've tried buying tickets for the olympics, because we didnt have much money we could only apply for a few events, we werent lucky. So we got excited about cycling, the children love zooming around Bushy Park, and the organisers told us we'd be able to watch for free. Brilliant, we'd get close to the action!
We all went to the trial event in the Park, it was a community thing, surrounded by friends we cheered the cyclists as they pelted by, and we said to our children you'll see the winner of the gold medal this summer.
Not now. They've just announced they'll ticket finish area.
The olympics isnt for local people like us is it. What I want to know is who sold us out? Our council, Our MP, Our Goverment, because... Our hearts are broken.

Incredible. Just one part of the Olympics that could have avoided overpriced corporate exploitation, and... oh well.

£15 to stand on a piece of our countryside, to watch a tiny portion of a 150-mile race. Great.
