A four-year-old cancer sufferer has had her wish granted to have a tea party with her favourite fairy tale princesses.
Accompanied by her family, Mia Carpenter Brooks, from Bookham, met Disney characters Mulan, Snow White and Sleeping Beauty in Disneyland Paris.
Mia was diagnosed with neuroblastoma, a malignant tumor that develops from nerve tissue and occurs in infants and children, in November 2010.
She has undergone 18 months of intensive treatment at The Royal Marsden Hospital in Sutton.
The visit was organised by the Starlight Children's Foundation, a charity which grants wishes for children with serious and terminal illnesses.
Mia's parents contacted the charity to give their daughter something to look forward to during her treatment.
Her mother, Natasha Brooks, said: "We had the most amazing time and cannot thank Starlight enough for enabling us as a family to experience Disneyland in such a magical way.
"We thought Mia might burst with excitement when she met the princesses - they were fantastic with her and she hasn’t stopped talking about it since.
"Mia is a very sweet natured girl who cares a great deal about the other children she meets at the hospital.
"Despite feeling pretty bad during treatment, she always tries to remain positive."
