Tadworth A.C. runners joined a field of 615 for the popular Elmbridge 10K at Walton-on-Thames area, probably the fastest 10K race in the country and part of the Surrey Road League series. Paul O’Callaghan put in a fine performance to finish 13th in 34 minutes and 24 seconds, 2 minutes faster than last year. Veteran Geoff Newton won first prize in the men’s over-60 class, finishing 86th in 39:33.
