Cyclist hospitalised after collision with car
A man was taken to hospital this morning after a collision between a bicycle and a car.
The incident occurred shortly after 5.30am this morning on the A24 London Road, Stoneleigh.
The collision involved a red Renault Megane and a pedal cyclist.
Road closures remain in place on the A24 and it is likely the road will remain closed for up to an hour.
The cyclist, a man in his 30s, has sustained head and chest injuries and was taken to St George’s Hospital, Tooting.
