New vicar welcomed to Ewell St Mary’s Church

More than 200 people packed in to St Mary’s in Ewell to welcome the new vicar, Father Rusell Dewhurst on Sunday.
At the formal collation service, a term used when the parish has special connections with the Bishop, the Bishop of Guildford the Rt Rev Christopher Hill presided and the Archbishop of Dorking, the Venerable Julian Henderson, installed Father Russell into his new parish.
Epsom’s MP Chris Grayling and Deputy Mayor of Epsom and Ewell Councillor Alan Winkworth were among the guests.
