CCTV images of samurai sword-wielding robbers who targeted a Balham cash and carry have been released.
During the incident, which took place on March 25 at 3.20pm, five men forced their way into the Cashco cash-and-carry shop in Weir Road.
One was armed with a samurai sword and once inside the shop assaulted an elderly male member of staff with it. The man was later treated for minor injuries.
The suspects then robbed a female customer of cash, pushing her to the floor in the process, and attempted unsuccessfully to take cash from the cash office.
All five then made off on foot into the Weir Road estate.
The five are all described as black men between the ages of 17 and 20 years.
The images show two of the men police want to talk to in connection to the robbery.
