A volunteer is in a serious but stable condition after a cyclist taking part in the RideLodnon event crashed into her.
The crash happened at around 11.15am in Sunday in Epsom Road, Leatherhead, at a crossing point near the junction with The Crescent and Leret Way.
A female rider collided with the marshal who suffered serious injuries.
The marshal was taken to hospital, where she remains in a stable but serious condition.
Surrey Police are now appealing for the rider to come forward, or for anyone who can help identify the rider to contact them.
