Have you ever debated with friends about which London borough is the best to live in? This new research has set out to find the answer.

The data is based according to happiness, affordability, crime rate, quietness, schools, green space and the “cool factor”.

South London is prominent on the list – with Richmond upon Thames clinching the top spot and Bromley and Sutton second and third respectively.

Richmond upon Thames has the highest amount of greenspace in London – a key reason for why it finished in first.

Bromley was ranked as the third happiest place to live and was in the top 10 for quietness and average rent places – resulting in an enviably number two spot.

The research, carried out by Attic Self Storage, found that Bexley, Kingston upon Thames and Sutton have the lowest crime rates in the capital.
