A year ago this week (July 10) a 15-year-old school girl was pushed her off her bike along the Hogsmill River estate and sexually assaulted.

A month later (August 17) a 10-year-old girl managed to fight back and escape from a sex attacker who assaulted her as she walked in a wooded area in Claygate.

Police linked the two attacks to the same person.

But to this day the attacker has not been caught.

Surrey Police are now re-appealing for information and assuring the public that they are still on the hunt for the man.

"Detectives are still investigating these serious crimes and are determined to identify the man in the CCTV footage," a police spokeswoman said.

"We have DNA of this man so can easily eliminate any names or information given to us."

Police released an e-fit of the man who attacked both girls and is described as an Asian male of 30 to 40 years old, 6ft 1in tall with a stocky build.

At the time of the attacks, officers released CCTV footage of the man on the day of the second attack.
