The RAC's proposals to do up its sport facilities in Woodcote Park have been approved by Epsom and Ewell Borough Council.
Plans involve introducing a "destination spa", relocating gym and fitness studios, and partially demolish buildings so they can be rebuilt and refurbished.
The decision to create a spa is a "high priority" for the club, as it tries to evolve with members' needs and hopes to attract new customers.
Designs are hoped to minimally impact the look of the grounds.
The existing buildings are described in plans as "in a poor state of repair" and "in need of extensive refurbishment".
This work will form part of the club's 15 to 20-year "masterplan", hoped to keep Woodcote Park "an attractive venue".
As part of the masterplan, outline planning permission was granted in 2015 to redevelop Cedar Sports.
Full permission was also given at that time to revamp other buildings in the grounds and to build a five-storey wing with accommodation, offices and banquet facilities.
