An application to change number 17 to a restaurant has been submitted to the council.
KFC could be coming to Epsom High Street, following an application to change the use of a shop building by a franchisee.
The application relates to number 17, currently rented by i-Tech Mobiles, which held Millets until the middle of last year.
Permission from Epsom and Ewell Borough Council is needed to use the site, and the application has been made by Iceking Group, which runs franchises of KFC and Pizza Hut.
Plans suggest there would be seats for about 50 customers, and the restaurant would employ about 25 people.
The shop is listed on an estate agent’s website as available to rent for £38,500 a year.
