Times have now been announced for celebrity chef Tony Tobin's live cooking demonstrations in the Ashley Centre.

The TV chef, of Ready Steady Cook fame, will be cooking up the recipes of Epsom locals on April 14.

The live demos will be at 10.30am, 12.30pm and 2.30pm in the centre outside House of Fraser.

The recipes are all contributions from the community chosen to go into the charity cookbook, 'Recipe for Success', which has now been published.

A spokeswoman for the Ashley Centre Said: “The Ashley Centre always supports a charity, and this year we have two – The Sunnybank Trust and the Epsom branch of Guide Dog Fundraising and Donations.

“We let them use the centre for fundraising, but we also wanted to do something to get the community involved.

“The lovely thing about the Ashley Centre is that it’s very community-minded and also has a lot of independent shops.

“They decided that a recipe book would be a very good idea because it doesn’t matter how old you are – you could be a five-year-old with a recipe for chocolate cornflake cakes or an older person with a family recipe – it’s very inclusive."

Young and old joined in with the collaboration, West Ewell Primary School even encouraged children to send in recipes as part of a class project.

The Ashley Centre thanked everyone for sending in their best recipes for the book.
