Pupils from Ewell Caste School entertained Epsom Playhouse audiences with their performance of Guys and Dolls.

The cast of years six to 13 students brought the story of the “Save-A-Soul Mission” trying to recruit sinners and a turn a group of gamblers away from a life of sin.

This was the school’s third annual musical production to be staged at the Playhouse, giving pupils the opportunity to work in a theatre with a professional standard of lighting, music and staging.

School principal Peter Harris said: “Since the launch of our Performing Arts Academy, music and drama have gone from strength to strength, and the fact that we now have pupils going on to specialist music conservatoires and drama schools once they complete their education at Ewell Castle School is testament to this.”

The school made special mention of Chloe Haycock, Belle Shipkolye, Jack Stace and Naym Ali.
