Seven people were evacuated from the flats above Iceland in Worcester Park after it went on fire in the early hours of the morning.
Four fire engines and 21 firefighters and officers were called to the supermarket in Central Road at 1.45am and had the fire under control just before 3am on December 29.
A small part of a ground floor storeroom was damaged in the fire and there were no reported injuries.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Crews from Sutton, New Malden and Surbiton fire stations attended.
