Comedian and children’s author David Walliams visited The Children’s Trust in Tadworth on Christmas Day, to give a reading from his book The World’s Worst Children.

The audience included staff, young people, children and families at the centre, where children who suffer from brain injury are cared for.

Angela Robertshaw, Head of Communications at The Children’s Trust, said: “We’d like to say a huge thank you to David for giving up his morning to come and spend time with us all on this special day. The children were very excited to meet him.”

Every year, 40,000 children in the UK are left with a brain injury after an accident or illness and many have to live with ongoing, long-term difficulties.

The Children’s Trust provides children and young people with brain injury and neurodisability specialist rehabilitation and education at the Tadworth centre, along with community services across the rest of the country.
